“There was a time when Coors Light used to be my favorite beer.”
That’s no longer the case for Caitlin. As an Austin-based craft beer blogger, she shares adventures, stories, and interviews from some of her favorite breweries and booze makers in the Austin craft beer game. And, well, there’s just not a big market for longform takes on the river water of Golden, Colorado or gram-worthy photos of silver bullet tall boys. But she’s got the rest of the booze-spectrum covered – everything from specially curated beer dinners, pressurized beer growlers (yeah, crazy, right?), booze-glamping in tiny homes, and cross-promotion of brewery events through dogs. Because, well, who doesn’t appreciate some frisbee-fetch with their Festbeir?
But it’s not all new friends and fresh foam.
“Running a blog is a full-time job. So, when you have a full-time job on top of being a blogger, it’s hard to keep up. Letting The Folde take care of my laundry has been the biggest game changer. All I have to do is schedule a pick-up and off my laundry goes! Twenty-four hours later, it came back fresh and folded.”
It was a no-brainer for us. As part of our Skip Laundry, Do Good campaign, we knew Caitlin could push the creative limits of what we realized is possible when you give cool people a little extra free time. And, well, when others might have used the extra time to lay on the couch, she made the most of it.
“Instead of sorting the whites from the colors, I mailed out some local craft beer and wine to a few friends across the country. When I wasn’t waiting for the washer to be done so I could start the dryer, I headed to Zilker Park with my dog and snapped some beautiful shots of a bottle of whiskey for an upcoming post.”
Between a day job in social/digital marketing and pumping out content on her blog, Caitlin is always looking for new brews to try while adding to her collection of stickers and koozies. She can be found on Instagram as @bigwrldsmallgrl or on a brewery patio with a growler that looks more like the Mars Rover than the traditional glass travel jug.
